Banff Fly Fishing Guides; I love fly fishing
....especially on the Bow River around Banff, Alberta, Canada. In fact the fly
fishing near Banff is so good you could probably catch trout blindfolded. At Hawgwild Flyfishing Guides we guide high end fly fishing
and lure fishing trips
on the Middle and Upper Bow river year round. Our catch and release waters are
full of fat trout!!! Rockies, Rainbows, Cutthroat, Brook and Brown Trout are the species of fish that we fly fish for on the Bow river from the
edge of Banff National Park down past Calgary to Carslands Weir...100 miles of
great water! We tie great trout flies!!! The flies that we tie don't fall
apart and come with a life time guarantee. Even after multiple fish Big Jim's
flies simply get better. Our arsenal of twelve Loomis fly fishing rods fish like
a dream. Imagine using a three weight six foot six Loomis fly rod casting some
parachute adams....you change your mind and switch to the five weight nine foot
nine Loomis emerger fly rod with a green drake emerger because the rises look
like the trout are chasing emergers to the surface......after a few more casts
you notice that the really big brutish like browns are chasing minnows in the
shallows......you call for the Big Cahuna my eleven foot six inch eight weight
summer steelhead fly rod that casts those clauser minnows with the greatest of
ease...........fish on, fish on, fish on so many fish on that you can't seem to
keep the trout off your line. From ultra light three weight fly fishing rods to the max
nine weight fourteen foot two handed spey fly fishing rods, Big Jim's arsenal of
twelve Loomis fly rods are sure to make your day of fly fishing the Bow river a
memorable event. My favourite fly fishing rod is the Loomis seven foot six four
weight. The wild trout battle jump and fight....feels great to catch those wild
brown trout on ultra light fly fishing gear. Then again I sure do like my eleven
and a half foot GLX Loomis summer steelhead rod. Talk about casting oversized
flies out there!!! Casting and skating bombers on the surface to over sized
trout is truly the sport of Kings. So do give us a call to fly fish the Bow
River just outside Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Call Big Jim at 1 403
760-2446, chief fly fishing guide of HAWGWILD FLYFISHING GUIDES...... we fly
fish the Bow alot and our trout flies are amongst the most deadly in the land!

Do you like deep fried battered fresh trout fillets served on some fresh panini?
Well off with their heads and into the pan I say. MMMMMM I dream about those
open faced fresh fish sandwiches the night before I go up to my heated fish catching shack located on
